Where Hanoi's salons are
J Spa Massage and Xuka Massage are the salons with a confirmed location: J Spa Massage is in Giang Vo ward, on the west side of the centre, and Xuka Massage is in Hai Ba Trung ward, south of Hoan Kiem Lake. Rosespa Vietnam, Nuru Massage Osuka and the featured Massage Nuru are listed without a confirmed address, so ask for it when you book.
Hanoi addresses take some reading. Many places sit down a ngõ, a lane off the main street, or a ngách, a smaller alley off that lane, and the numbers are written with slashes, so ask for the complete address and send it to your driver as written.
Nuru and erotic massage in Hanoi
About two in five of the salons we list put nuru in the title of their own website, and one tags it itself. Calling ahead, Grab and Hanoi's earlier nights
Every salon we list in Hanoi can be called, and more than half also list WhatsApp. Vietnam's own messaging app is Zalo, so it is worth asking whether a salon uses it too. The currency is the Vietnamese dong; ask how payment works when you book.
Hanoi goes to bed earlier than Ho Chi Minh City. The Old Quarter north of Hoan Kiem Lake stays lively in the evening, and the streets around the lake close to traffic on weekend evenings, but much of the city is quiet by midnight, so book an evening slot rather than a late one. Grab cars and motorbike taxis are the easiest way around. If you are travelling on, Da Nang is about 606 km down the coast.
